Slow Cooker Ham & Potato Casserole
Ingredients:
4–5 cups potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
2 cups cooked ham, diced
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
Salt, to taste
½ tsp paprika (optional)
Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Lightly grease the slow cooker with butter or oil.
Add half of the potatoes on the bottom of the slow cooker & season with a little salt & pepper.
Then add half the ham & onion to it & Sprinkle with some cheese.
Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, onions & cheese.
Now mix the cream soup, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika well in a bowl.
Now pour this mixture over all the layers.
Cover the slow cooker & low heat for 6 to 7 hours or high heat for 3 to 4 hours, until all the potatoes are soft.
Once completed, let it rest for 10 mins before serving.
