Slow Cooker Granny Mince

“Slow Cooker Granny Mince” for dinner. This is our go to on cold days and all the kids love it!

Ingredients:

500g mince
150g bacon
1 onion (I’m using frozen)
1 can tomato soup
200ml tomato sauce
Generous amount of mixed herbs
2 cracks pepper
Small shell pasta

Slow Cooker Granny Mince

Directions:

Brown bacon, onion and mince
Drain fat and chuck in slow cooker
Sprinkle over mixed herbs
Add tomato soup, rinse out with water (quarter of the can of water) and add
Add tomato sauce
Pepper

Cook for 4 hours on low
In the last 5 minutes throw in cooked small shell pasta, stir through and it’s ready to go.

We generally eat it on toast.

I turned slow cooker up to high for the last 30 minutes to help thicken.
