Hi guys, i am very excited today because i am sharing my favourite slow cooker chicken sweet corn soup recipes. So let’s move toward the ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1kg chicken mince
- 2litres chicken stock
- 3 cans of creamed corn
- 2 cans of corn kernels
- A few sticks of celery
- 2 carrots
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1-2 teaspoons of minced garlic
- 1-2 teaspoons of minced ginger
- 2 teaspoons of seasame oil
- Salt and pepper
Method:
I cooked the mince in a frying pan first and declumped it then threw everything in except for the 2 minute noodles. Cover and cooked on low for 6 hours. Noodles went in during the last hour.
Question: Did you brown the Mince first….high or low and for how long please.
Answer: Yes I did brown the mince & declumped it and then cooked it on low for 6-7 hours.
Question: What type of Noodles did you use ??
Answer: I just used 2 minute noodles & threw them in towards the end cause they don’t take long to cook.
Question: Just one packet of noodles? sorry everyone is bombarding u with questions but it looks amazing, I’m gonna have to make it. I really don’t like ginger though. Can you taste it much?
Answer: Can’t really taste the ginger but I’m sure you can make it without it. I added 2 packets of 2 minute noodles but its up to you how thick you want to make it.
Question: Was this all put in a once?
Answer: Just 2 minute noodles & the noodles I put in towards the end because they dont take long to cook.
Question: What size cans of corn/creamed corn have you used?
Answer: The large 420gram tins. I’ve got a big slow cooker so you can halve the recipe for smaller quantity.
Looks delicious. I think the noodles got missed off the list of ingredients
