RIBS!!! Absolutely beautiful ribs….
I used 2 pork rib racks, have no idea how much they weighed lol.
Dry Rub:
1 teaspoon each of:
Garlic powder
paprika
ground coriander seeds
five spice
ground cumin.
Salt and pepper to taste and
enough olive oil to make a paste
Rub onto the ribs and then leave for 24 hours. I vac packed mine & then froze them with the rub on.
Glaze:
1/2 cup rum or bourbon
3tbs hoisin sauce
1tbs molasses
3 tbs cider vinegar
4 teaspoons soy sauce
3 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Method:
Pour all in saucepan & bring to boil. Simmer until 1/4 gone & thickened.
Slow cook pork rib racks in slow cooker for 4 hours on high, remove from cooker & lay on a oven tray. Brush with glaze on both sides & put in oven pre heated to 180 degree . Brush with glaze every 5 minutes or so until you are happy with how much glaze is on there.
