Mississippi Roast (Slow Cooker)
INGREDIENTS:
1 (3–4 lb) beef chuck roast
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 packet au jus gravy mix
½ cup butter (1 stick)
6–9 pepperoncini peppers (+ a splash of the juice, optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1️⃣ Add roast to crockpot
Place chuck roast in the slow cooker.
2️⃣ Season
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning & mix the au jus evenly over the roast.
3️⃣ Finish
Place butter on top of the roast.
pepperoncini peppers (and if you like tang, add a little juice).
4️⃣ Cook
LOW: 8–9 hours (best results)
HIGH: 4–5 hours
The roast is done when it can be easily cut with a fork.
5️⃣ Shred & serve
Shred the beef and mix with the juices in the crockpot.

On sandwich rolls
With rice or noodles
In tacos or wraps.
