Meatballs Stuffed With Mozzarella Cheese. Next time I’ll use bigger pieces of cheese, but this was delicious. One of the best meals I’ve made!!!
Ingredients:
1 kg of mince
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup parsley
Directions:
Mix everything together in a bowl, roll into balls, and stuff cubes of mozzarella into the balls. Make sure the meat is fully closed over so cheese doesn’t ooze out
I used 2 jars of tomato purée to cook them in. On high for 3 hours ( I have the $20 Kmart slow cooker, so cooking times may vary) served with fettuccine.
(It was so good. I can’t even tell you. I cut my mozerella into small cubes, so next time I will cut them into decent size pieces.)
I made about 18 from 1 kg of mince. Mine were medium size, but you can make them smaller. I can’t even say how much cheese I used. It cost me $7 from Coles and I only used probably a quarter of the block.
