Beef Stew Slow Cooker Recipe added a shop bought Yorkshire Pudding
Ingredients:
400 gram steak
1 sliced onions
1 packet of Asda beef casserole mix
425 ml of water
parsnips
potatoes
mushrooms
Chopped up carrots
corn flour
Instructions:
400 gram stewing steak which I browned off, added sliced onions with a packet of Asda beef casserole mix and 425 ml of water. Chopped up carrots, parsnips, potatoes and mushrooms put the raw into the slow cooker then poured the meat and onion mix over the top cooked on high for 3 hours the low for another 3 hours.
Added some corn flour around 30 minutes before due to serve.
Pre heated oven then put the Yorkshire pudding in for 4 minutes.
Question: Could you give info on the sauce/ gravy please.
Answer: Asda beef casserole mix as directions on packet plus cornflour an hour from the end.
