1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce (Heinz)
Amish Cranberry Meatballs: Instructions
-
Put the frozen fully cooked meat balls in a homogeneous layer in the base of a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker.
-
Add the cranberry sauce and chili sauce in a medium bowl. Blend until it is largely smooth; several whole cranberries are okay.

Add the mixture of cranberry-chili sauce and pour thoroughly over the frozen meatballs in the slow cooker, trying as best you can to cover all the meatballs.
-
Cook with the lid on top of the slow cooker on HIGH, 2 to 3 hours or low, 4 to 6 hours until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
-
Seasoning During cooking propagate the meatballs in the sauce with a small amount of movement a single or twice, taking care not to disintegrate them.
-
When hot, put the slow cooker to the WARM setting to serve. Stir the meatballs one last time to make them shiny and coated and then put them immediately on the slow cooker or on a servicable dish.
