Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and chopped into 1-inch pieces

  • 14 ounces smoked sausage (like kielbasa), cut into 1/2-inch circles

  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup

  • 1/2 cup milk

 Sausage & Potatoes Slow Cooker: Directions

  1. Spray or butter inside of a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker so food won’t stick.

  2. Put potato chunks in a flat layer at the bottom.

  3. Add sausage slices on top, spread them out nice and even.

  4. Mix soup and milk in a bowl until smooth, then pour over everything. Scrape the bowl to coat it all.

  5. Stir gently once or twice so sauce gets between potatoes and sausage—don’t mix too much.

  6. Put on the lid. Cook on LOW 6-7 hours or HIGH 3-4 hours, until potatoes are soft when poked with a fork.
