Crock Pot Smothered Pork Chops. This recipe is easy and yummy. The pork chops cook slowly in a creamy gravy. The sauce is thick and tasty. You can eat it with rice, potatoes, or bread. It is perfect for a simple family dinner.
Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops

1 oz packet onion soup mix

1 14 oz low sodium canned chicken broth.

1 10.5 oz low sodium cream of chicken soup.

1 oz packet dry pork gravy mix

1 tsp garlic powder
To thicken gravy

3 tbsp cornstarch
-
3 tbsp cold water
Crock Pot Smothered Pork Chops: Directions

Combine onion soup mix, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup and pork gravy mix in a 5-6 quart oval slow cooker. Blend until smooth.

Sprinkle the chops on either side with a small portion of garlic powder.

Put pork chops into the slow cooker. Spread and cover with gravy mixture as much as you can.

Bake and wrap in low heat about 4-6 hours.

Whisk the cornstarch and cold water together in a small bowl but a minute before the pork chops are ready. When it is smooth, pour it in together with your pork chops in your slow cooker and stir it.

Bring the slow cooker to high and cook an additional 30 minutes (until the gravy becomes thickened).
