Porcupine Meatballs

Slow Cooker Porcupine meatballs. They smell amazing already.

Ingredients:

Recipe (I made it up as I went)
– 500g pork mince
– 300g beef mince
– 1 grated carrot
– 1 grated onion.. I usually chop the onion but I didn’t have any eggs on hand to bind the mixture so by grating it it creates a moist consistency
– 1/3 cup bread crumbs
– generous amount of Worcestershire sauce
– dash of tomato sauce
– dash of mustard
– garlic powder
– Italian herbs
– all season
– 1 cup of rice

Porcupine Meatballs

Method:

I mixed with my hands to really get in there and combine it and it made 16 very large meatballs.

For the sauce – I put a jar of passata, a jar of chunky garlic and onion sauce, 2 chopped garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. Enjoy
