🍖 SLOW COOKER BBQ BEEF RIBS 🍖
PART ONE – THE RUB
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Paprika
1/4 cup Chilli Powder
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1/4 cup Cracked Black Pepper
1 Tablespoon Cayenne Pepper
1 Tablespoon Salt
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
Direction:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl
Remove the membrane from your ribs and generously rub the ribs with the combined spices
Let the coated ribs sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
PART TWO – THE SAUCE + METHOD
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
1/4 cup Honey or Maple Syrup
2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
2 Malt Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon Mustard Powder
Method:
Put 1/4 cup of sauce aside
Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl
Lather the coated ribs with sauce and place in slow cooker. Cook on Low for 8-10 hours (the more ribs you have the more cooking time you need)
Place slow cooked ribs on a baking tray, add extra sauce on top and cook under the grill for 3 – 5 minutes or until sauce starts to bubble and caramelize.
