How to Make 5-Ingredient Slow Cooker Beef
-
Put the raw beef chunks in a single flat layer at the bottom of your 5- to 6-quart slow cooker.
-
In a bowl, mix the mushroom soup, onion soup mix, broth, and Worcestershire sauce until it’s mostly smooth. A few tiny lumps are okay.
-
Pour the mix over the beef. Use a spoon to push any meat that’s sticking out down into the sauce so it’s all covered.
-
Put the lid on tight. Cook it on LOW heat for 7-8 hrs or HIGH heat for 4-5 hrs. The beef should be super soft and easy to pull apart with a fork. Don’t peek too much—it keeps the heat in!
-
Stir it gently. Taste and add a little salt or pepper if you want, based on your mixes.
-
Serve hot with gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. Add chopped parsley on top if you like!
